Departure at 9:00 AM from Kizimkazi Dimbani Beach Board our comfortable traditional sailboats for an unforgettable experience. We’ll begin with an exciting snorkeling session, allowing you to explore the colorful and diverse underwater life of the region. You’ll have the chance to admire living corals and tropical fish. Next, we’ll return to the boat and head towards the sandbank. Enjoy some free time to swim in the lagoon. When it’s time, we’ll call you to indulge in a delicious and hearty seafood barbecue lunch. Juicy shrimp, grilled fish, tender squid, and other seafood delights await you, offering a truly gastronomic experience at sea. To end this beautiful day, we’ll sail back through the stunning surrounding mangroves. Back on the beach, your taxi will take you to the new sea turtle sanctuary (we avoid the one in Nungwi), where you’ll also have the chance to swim. Make sure to take a shower before entering to remove any sunscreen. A perfect end to a beautiful day!

WHAT TO WEAR
For your Mnemba Island excursion, we recommend wearing comfortable and beach-friendly attire. A swimsuit worn under light, breathable clothing is ideal, along with quick-dry shorts or a beach cover-up. Flip flops or water shoes are perfect for getting on and off the boat with ease. Don’t forget sun protection—bring a hat or cap, UV-protective sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen. It’s also a good idea to pack a towel, a change of clothes for after the trip, and a waterproof bag to keep your phone and valuables safe. If you have a waterproof camera or GoPro, bring it along to capture the highlights of your day!
